About the Sanctuary
Osho Nisarga Ashram is situated on the serene banks of the Gangapur backwaters in Nashik, surrounded by the sacred Sahyadri hills. Established as a pure field of meditation, it offers year-round residential retreats, silent sittings, and active meditation workshops.
The Ashram was architecturally conceived in harmony with organic materials—bamboo domes, exposed red brick pavilions, and open meditation verandahs that invite the fresh mountain breeze. Here, every sunset reflects off the tranquil water, creating a natural stillness that supports profound introspection.

Sanctuary Guidelines
- Maroon robes are worn during daytime active meditations and silent sittings.
- White robes are worn exclusively during the Evening Meeting and celebration.
- Silence is maintained during breakfast and all designated silent walking hours.
- The entire campus is a completely smoke-free, alcohol-free, and plant-based sanctuary.
