Silence Camps (Maun Dhyan)

Unplug from the noise of words and discover the boundless stillness within.

The Essence & Methodology

Silence Camps (Maun Dhyan) are residential retreats where participants observe noble silence for several consecutive days. In our modern world saturated by constant digital notifications, speech, and opinions, silence acts as a powerful healing balm.

Under Osho's guidance, silence is not a grim suppression or self-torture; it is accompanied by morning active meditations to discharge accumulated physical tension, followed by gentle Vipassana sittings and nature walks.

When speech drops away, the constant compulsive habit of explaining and defending oneself ceases, revealing an effortless inner peace that was always present beneath the surface chatter.

Stage-by-Stage Journey

Each stage is timed and musically orchestrated to guide awareness deeper.

Is it difficult to remain silent for 3 or 4 days?

Most participants are surprised to find that after the initial 12 hours, silence feels like a tremendous relief rather than a struggle. Because everyone around you is in silence, social pressure dissolves completely.
